Filtered still, chilled and sparkling water from your kitchen tap. Supplied and installed across the Lower Mainland.

What it is

GROHE Blue is a kitchen faucet with a filter and a chiller unit housed in the cabinet below. It delivers your ordinary hot and cold, plus filtered still, chilled and sparkling water, from the same spout. The carbonation comes from a CO2 cylinder under the sink.

What it does for your home

It replaces bottled water entirely. If your household buys cases of still or sparkling water, the running cost comparison usually settles the argument on its own — and the cases stop arriving, stop being stored, and stop going out for recycling.

What it needs to be installed properly

Cabinet space under the sink for the cooler unit and the CO2 cylinder, a power outlet within reach, and enough clearance to change filters and cylinders without emptying the cupboard. That last point is the one people regret — if the cooler is buried behind the waste bin, you will resent it every time a cylinder runs out.

Who it suits — and who it does not

Worth it for households that buy bottled or sparkling water regularly, or that already run a filter jug. It is not a fit-and-forget product: filters and CO2 cylinders are consumables and need replacing. If nobody in the house will remember to change them, a simple filtered tap is the better buy.
