What it needs to be installed properly

Match the tap configuration to the basin before ordering — a widespread tap will not fit a single-hole basin, and a vessel tap needs the right height for the bowl you have chosen. If you are replacing like for like, measure the existing hole spacing first.

Who it suits — and who it does not

Any bathroom renovation where the finishes are being chosen together. If you are replacing one failed tap in an otherwise untouched bathroom, matching the existing brand and finish usually matters more than the collection.
