The Project Overview:

For this high-end ensuite renovation in South Surrey, the client wanted a “spa-at-home” experience. The project involved moving from a standard single-head tub/shower combo to a massive walk-in custom shower featuring multiple water sources, requiring a significant upgrade to the home’s internal water distribution and drainage capacity.

The Solution:

A luxury shower is a mechanical challenge hidden behind beautiful tile. We engineered a system that delivers consistent pressure even when multiple heads are running simultaneously:

• High-Flow Thermostatic Valves: We installed a professional-grade thermostatic mixing valve. This allows the user to set their perfect temperature once, and the valve automatically adjusts to prevent “shower shock” if someone else flushes a toilet or starts the laundry.

   

• Triple-Output Diverters: We managed the complex piping for three distinct zones: a ceiling-mounted rainfall head, a wall-mounted adjustable wand, and four recessed body jets.

• Pressure-Balanced Manifold: To ensure the body jets have equal “punch,” we built a custom pressure-balanced loop. This prevents the top jets from having more pressure than the bottom ones.

• Linear Drain Installation: We installed a modern stainless steel linear drain, which requires precision floor grading to ensure fast, pond-free drainage for such a high-volume water system.
