The Project Overview:

This project was for a homeowner in the Fraser Valley who was concerned about chlorine tastes, sediment in their drinking water, and mineral buildup on their new high-end fixtures. They needed a solution that would protect their entire home’s plumbing system from the “hard” water issues common in certain BC neighborhoods.

The Solution:

We designed and installed a multi-stage filtration system at the main water entry point. This system ensures that every tap in the house—from the kitchen to the shower—delivers clean, filtered water.

The installation included:

• Stage 1: Sediment Pre-Filter: Removes dirt, rust, and sand that can clog faucet aerators and damage appliance valves.

   

• Stage 2: Activated Carbon Filtration: Eliminates chlorine and chemical odors, significantly improving the taste of the water.

   

• Stage 3: Scale Prevention System: Protects the dishwasher, laundry machine, and hot water tank from mineral scale buildup without the use of harsh chemicals.

• Bypass Manifold: We installed a professional bypass valve system so the homeowner can easily change filters without shutting off water to the entire house.
